Quesitos de guayaba

INGREDIENTS:

1 puff pastry sheet
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
3/4 cup confectioner's  sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Guava paste
1 egg for eggwash

PREPARATION:
Prepare pastry sheet
Thaw and roll out to create 4x4-inch squares.

Prepare filling 
Mix 8 ounces cream cheese with 3/4 cup of confectioner's sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Cut Guava paste into small pieces.

Assembly
Take pastry squares and place 1 to 2 teaspoons of filling spread diagonally. Add a couple of pieces of guava. Take one corner; fold over; press to secure it, then fold the other corner over and tuck it under. Brush with eggwash; sprinkle confectioner's sugar before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool.

Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar again and enjoy.
